Travelling In Cyprus

Motorways
Entering the European Union has given Cyprus the incentive and improved communications within the country, thus benefiting the general improvement of the country's infrastructure. Motorways connect the whole island and enable the smooth and easy communication between towns. Visitors in Cyprus can drive using a valid International driving licence, or their National driving licence, provided it is valid for the class of vehicle they wish to drive.

Bus Service Facilities
Various interurban bus companies link all major towns with daily routes at specified intervals. Urban Buses operate frequently during daytime and in certain tourist areas while during summer their timetables are extended till midnight. Bus shuttles are organised from Congress venues to other resorts and centres of towns.
